Target Audience
Signums targets an audience of alternative, Dance, Hip-hop music enthusiasts, as the music is mainly dance tracks and don’t have many lyrics it. Signum would also appeal to electro and pop music fans, making the single quite dynamic and to appealing to a range of listeners. I took it upon myself to do a little research of my own to truly identify Signums main target audience. I went around shops looking through magazine articles to find Signum mentioned in there. I them went home and found that the target audience of the magazine was mainly males between the ages of 17-30. Therefore I can approximate the majority of Signums fans follow the same trend. As well as this I managed to find Signums Facebook page and it shows that they have over 15,000 followers which identifies them as being known worldwide, and are currently doing a tour of Russia and Ibiza .
From looking at what i found out about Signums target audience i will be sticking to the same target audience as them and not trying to merge the song into other genres.
